In the current climate of the COVID 19 pandemic, many businesses and individuals find themselves facing financial difficulties and needing assistance. 

At Nowland Lawyers, we have seen a significant increase in the area of debt recovery as well as client’s needing assistance to discharge their debts through facilitating payments plans. 

Due to the current climate, there has been a significant shift in the previous hardline approach to debt recovery with a greater emphasis now on establishing a dialogue between creditors and debtors.

In our years of experience such an approach achieves the best outcome for our client’s and reduces their legal costs significantly.  To date, 98% of our client received total discharge of their debt without needing to proceed to Court.

At Nowland Lawyers we also work with client’s who find themselves and/or their business in financial distress unable to discharge their debts within the required deadlines or having received a “letter of demand” for payment.  We work with our client’s to establish a meaningful dialogue with the creditor, and facilitate payment plans.
